We are starting on a project to create a product for the validation of dropped kerbs.

HCC have noticed an increase in the number of requests from solicitors and house sellers for us to validate that residential dropped kerbs were built by us or to our standards.

The product will be a tool to recieve enquiries. This will then be used to conduct data interogation of our records. if no record is available (by law we have to keep them for seven years) then this may result in a site visit which we would charge for and thereby generate a small amount of income.

We are starting off by having a eform as something to promote and will be engaging stakeholders.

Then we may develop an online system.

We would like to know if any other authorities see this as a viable product.
